Crawford Received 1,301,137 Votes. America PAC's Pre-Election Report Prints $6,219,652.78.

Wisconsin's canvass for the April 1, 2025 spring election prints 2,364,887 votes in the Supreme Court race. Susan Crawford is marked the winner. America PAC's spring pre-election CF-7 prints a total of $6,219,652.78. That report is not a full-campaign total.

A vote total and a spending report cover different questions. The canvass says who received how many votes. The CF-7 is one committee’s independent expenditures in the spring pre-election period. It is not a total for every group that spent on the race, and it is not a report that runs through election day.

The committee’s 2024 federal summary is America PAC’s year-end Form 3X. The 2026 federal lines are the September quarter.

What’s confirmed

The canvass

The Wisconsin Elections Commission canvass report, Canvass Results for 2025 Spring Election, is headed “Canvass Results for 2025 Spring Election - 4/1/2025 5:00:00 AM.”

For Justice of the Supreme Court, the report prints 2,364,887 total votes.

Candidate, as the canvass prints the nameVotesPercent
Brad Schimel, Non-Partisan1,062,33044.92%
Susan Crawford, Non-Partisan1,301,13755.02%
Scattering1,420.06%

The report marks Crawford as the winner. Adding 1,062,330, 1,301,137, and 1,420 is this desk’s check that they equal the 2,364,887 the canvass prints. The canvass does not print that addition.

The address line under Schimel is W295S2609 Jamie Ct, Waukesha, WI 53188. The address line under Crawford is 6417 Masthead Dr, Madison, WI 53705. Both are labeled Non-Partisan.

Label: The canvass report. The percentages are the report’s. This page did not recompute them. The report does not name a political committee, a dollar figure, or Mr. Musk.

America PAC’s spring pre-election CF-7

The CF-7 read here is a State of Wisconsin Report of Independent Expenditures. The committee name is AMERICA PAC. The committee ID is 1200151. The address is PO Box 341027, Austin, TX 78734. The filing period name is Spring Pre-Election 2025. The form says it is prescribed by the Wisconsin Ethics Commission.

The expenditure lines name two campaigns as the candidates affected: Susan Crawford for Wisconsin and Brad Schimel for Justice. The purposes on those lines include digital media, texting, canvassing and field operations, printing, printing and postage, and message phone calls. The vendors named include Full Reach Media Group LLC, IMGE LLC, The Synapse Group, Red Maverick Media LLC, Advantage, Inc., and Connection Strategy, LLC.

The form prints Total $6,219,652.78 and the same figure as the subtotal. Twenty amounts are legible in the text extract of that PDF. Adding those twenty amounts is this desk’s check that they equal the total the form prints. The form’s support and oppose columns are in the header. The text extract does not print the word “support” or the word “oppose” on the expenditure lines. This page does not assign the lines to those columns.

The dates paid on the lines run from February 19, 2025, through March 11, 2025. Communication dates on the lines run into March 17, 2025. The oath block is on the form. The notary lines in the extract are blank. This desk does not treat a blank notary line as a statement that the report was rejected.

Label: This CF-7. $6,219,652.78 is the total printed on it. It is a spring pre-election report. Election day on the canvass is April 1, 2025. A later Wisconsin report, and any spending after this form, was not the file opened. The form does not print Mr. Musk’s name.

Claims and open questions

The canvass and the CF-7 do not say that America PAC’s spending decided the race. They do not say the opposite. They are a vote table and one committee’s pre-election expenditures.

News accounts that put a larger dollar figure on “groups tied to” Mr. Musk were not opened for this page. Those figures are not substituted for $6,219,652.78. A figure that covers more committees, or that runs through April 1, would be a different document.

The extract does not show which lines were marked support and which were marked oppose. The candidate names are the names in the “affected” field. A line that names Crawford is not, on that fact alone, labeled here as an opposition expenditure.

The 2024 federal independent-expenditure line, $173,734,996.50, is on the year-end Form 3X. It is not this Wisconsin report. The two were not added.

On the map

America PAC’s 2024 federal summary is the Form 3X. The 2026 quarter is a different cycle. The daily $1 million payments from 2024 are the giveaway suits. This race is not a DOGE action. The politics hub is the section.
